Cuisinart Spice and Nut Grinder, Multi

I was very excited to see that the cuisinart nut and spice grinder was back in stock as I needed something to powder peanuts. My coffee grinder is very small and tends to make them into a paste. The nut and spice grinder does an excellent job of grinding nuts and flax seed and I plan to use it to grind coriander seeds. Highly recommend.

This nut and spice grinder overall works really well, but has some issues. The worst is the grinding cup got stuck and you couldn't remove it from the base, for no obvious reason. Freezing it somehow got that part released and it works well again. But even if you do small amounts of spices or nuts, only briefing grinding them, dust from them seems to get near the base under the grinding cup ~ how??? It's hard to clean up. Then there is some rubber gasket that doesn't seem to fit anywhere. Yet, I have ground individual and mixed spices or nuts, not overloading it & grinding briefly, and gotten just what I was after. So its almost perfect.

Excellent really does a brilliant job grinds with ease ans so simple to set up and use

Great product, works really well! I love that it's made out of stainless steel and easy to close. I use this regularly for spices and sometimes ginger/garlic paste (although it's not ideal for wet items).
