Not worth the money not up to Cuisart standards

I have many Cuisart product's that I love but this toaster is terrible you have to push the lever down many times before it will stay very frustrating.

The perfect toaster

This toaster does everything one needs, leaving out the confusing complications. It toasts - bread and bagels - and does so perfectly. Truly a straightforward, quality product that performs consistently.

Faulty toaster

I want to return my toaster ASAP. I had the same toaster for 16 years that worked great until it finally wore out. Bought the same toaster but VERY disappointed. Have to push toaster knob down several times for it to latch and toast. When bread pops up its not toasted properly I push knob down to continue toasting the slice holders will not latch.
