Cub Cadet PRO x 434 Commercial Stand-On Mower, Cub Cadet Yellow

Okay, so I’ve used it for the first time ever after deciding I didn’t want to spend a grand to fix my old tractor. I’m just a home owner and not a commercial operator just to let you know where I’m coming from. I have a decent city lot, not big but not small. Fairly flat with some trees and bushes…and dogs that decide that mowing time is the best time to put their toys in the way so I have to get off the mowe. Well I do have to say from going from the tractor to the stand on is definitely showing me there is a learning curve. But it didn’t take long to get used to the controls (which I do like a lot better then the sit down zero turn I tried on the dealer lot) I was able to see around the whole machine. Clear view of what’s in front, sides, and behind. I didn’t have that clear view with the sit down. So the better is probably why I decided to spend the extra money. Next plus is the smaller footprint. It takes up less space than my lawn tractor. My tractor was a 36” but, so the new mower is narrower and less length. On the south side of my house, the neighbor has a privacy fence and I also have a privacy fence around the back yard. Thus the free range digs with unlimited ball’s to retrieve and put in my path. Anyways, the tractor I could drive into the space between the fence and house, and then I’d need to back out. With the stand up, I can drive in, turn around, and drive out. I don’t think I could do that with a sit down without the clear 360• vision, at least not without bumping into something. And note we get down to results. I was very impressed with the way my yard looks after my first round. I even got a text from the neighbor that night about hire good the yard looked. And that meant a lot to me since he has his professionally cut. I actually like mowing my lawn and with this machine I am looking forward to next week to use it again! Now, I still have my old tractor to pull around the yard cart and roller, something you can’t do on a stand on. Anyways, if you are thinking about this machine, I hope this helps.
