Poor quality mower

Bought a brand new cub cadet 54" zero turn from tractor supply delivery company backed out last minute had to pay for someone to pick it up for us. Showed up mower blades were rusty( was given new blades to put on or a discount chose blades) got home mowed for 1.7 hours and noticed it leaking oil called tsc was told they would give us oil and an oil filter after my husband thought he fixed it then mowed again and it was still leaking so we couldn't get a replacement so we paid to have it returned and bought another mower somewhere else.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Just like my ZT1

I owned a Cub Cadet ZT1 Zero Turn for the last 7 years. I mow a lot of hillside and my left transaxle finally went out. It was going to cost more to replace this part than the mower was even worth at this point. I purchased a Bad Boy Maverick 60-inch from TSC yesterday and returned it within three hours. The deck was not level and for the price I paid, I shouldn't have to work on a mower immediately or send it through warranty. I say all that to say I replaced my ZT1 with this Z2 Cub Cadet has introduced to their line up. Seven years ago I paid $2600 for my ZT1 and now I paid $3900, so to say they have increased in price is an understatement. The mower handles better than the large 60-inch BB I bought yesterday, very similar to my ZT1. I no longer need a bungee to keep the chute open since it has a locking mechanism now. The step they added to the side of the mower to help you "get on" wasn't needed. It actually just gets in the way. The light bar is nice and replaced the two individual led headlights on the ZT1 model. I never had a problem out of my 7000 series Kohler engine, but time will tell how the Kawasaki engine holds up in comparison. Even though the transaxles are sealed, you can still perform some maintenance on them, so I will be pumping out the old fluid each year and replacing it with the recommended 20w50 to ensure they last as long as possible on my hills. I cut pretty steep hills on this mower and my ZT1, but the price wasn't worth it to purchase a unit with serviceable transaxles. I can buy two of these over the next 10-12 years and still come out cheaper than one commercial grade mower. I loved my ZT1, so I'm sure I'll love this mower just as much. I've mowed with it several times and have minimal complaints (price, added step, new choke mechanism), but nothing major. I'm also 6'4 and 250lbs and have more than plenty of room on the mower.

Yes, I recommend this product.
