Works Well

I bought this over a year ago and have moved probably 40-50 round bales so far. I only had issues when I was using ratchet straps to hold it to the bucket - I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THAT - NOT SAFE. Once I drilled a hole and started bolting it to the bucket the thing worked great. I do recommend going slow when going over uneven ground - a 1000lb round bale bouncing on the end of this thing is putting a lot of stress on it and the tractor. FYI, when I mount it on the bucket, its oriented opposite the picture. The lager gussets and spike portion is under the bucket and the thin strap is on top. That way the heavier part is supporting the weight of the bale. (The attached pic is using the ratchet straps - again I would not recommend that it does not work well and is unsafe)

Poorly made!

This is the third one that I have purchased in 3 years. This last one is the worst. It only bolts to the load with one metal strap. The two had a top and bottom strap. I used this for loading and unloading about 100 bales and the metal broke near the place where it bolts onto the tractor. TSC needs to get a better supplier. It is junk!!!

Mounted perfectly to my JD 48 loader bucket which is not a quick detatch loader. Has worked great for us so far.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Bucket mount round hay bale spear - works great

Works great. Does require making a hole in the tractor bucket to attach the bolt, but once that is done, it is pretty easy to put on and off.
