CrystalClear PondShock ball is powered by billions of all-natural, live, beneficial bacteria and enzymes to rapidly break down ammonia, nitrites, and organic waste. It is designed to give your pond an extra boost during times of change, such as spring start-up, after using an algaecide, after a storm, or after a fish spawns. One CrystalClear PondShock ball cleans, clears, and balances ponds up to 2,500 gallons for four weeks. Ideal for water gardens, backyard koi ponds, patio ponds, or water features with less than a 10,000 gallon capacity. PondShock also helps jump-start your biological filters in the spring to reduce ammonia spikes when new fish are added to the pond. A great alternative to chemicals and does wonders to balance your pond ecosystem and deliver crystal clear water. Safe for wildlife, fish, goldfish, crayfish, crawfish, koi, grass carp, birds, snails, tadpoles, and pets. Will cause no harm to any frog, bird, duck, or turtle. Will not harm any plant including lilies, water lettuce, lotus, flowers, or hyacinth. Will not damage pond liner, even preformed liners, or any other pond equipment including pumps, spillways, filters, skimmers, or other aquatic accessories. Apply when water quality becomes poor, in the spring to replenish winter bacteria loss, any time filter media is replaced as bacteria will seed new media. Use to boost bacteria levels 3 days after any algaecide treatment. PondShock is not an algaecide and does not kill algae or any pond weed. It does help reduce the nutrients that fuel algae growth. PondShock can be added to koi ponds, ornamental ponds, self-contained water features and ponds with fountains or a waterfall. Apply treatment once a month or as needed when water temperatures are above 50°F. PondShock is easy to use. Simply apply ball and activating gel directly to the pond every 4 weeks or as needed. Ponds without proper filtration may require more frequent applications. Use when water temperature is above 50°F.
