Q: We have a 1/4 acre pond with fish and our pond is getting pretty murky. We started using the natural pond cleaner, but should we have put in pond dye first. Can we use these products together? Can we use the Algae control with these other products?

Q: Our pond is about 1/2 acre surface but has depths up to 14 feet. Will Natural Pond Cleaner help prevent muck from developing in the shallower areas near the shore? If yes, how much should be applied at one time?

- A: Natural Pond Cleaner is more of a muck maintenance product. This would be similar to the daily multi-vitamin you would take every day. The Pond Cleaner will work gradually over time- but will not work miracles overnight. - A: 1 gallon of Natural Pond Cleaner will treat 1 acre 4-6 feet deep. Our gallon size Natural Pond Cleaner is meant for large, acre sized ponds. If you are needing another type of bacteria meant for Koi ponds, TSC sells several bacteria type products/or spheres that have small dosage rates that are similar. - A: Yes, added 4oz 4 weeks ago (1oz per 1000 gallons) I’m very pleased with the results so far. I have a media filter and this will add beneficial bacteria to the system. I have aeration and also a UV light in my return stream to the pond. 7 Fish 2 turtles and about 200 mosquito fish are looking great.5 years agoHelpful?

- A: Sorry, I thought my last post was for the herbicide product. I still think the product would work better in the spring. Even bacteria probably like warm water to grow and digest the muck. I would read the product label to make sure.5 years agoHelpful?

No harmed chemicals

A few weeks ago our large catfish were dying due to spawning, overcrowding and lack of oxygen. We put the gallon in our 1/2 acre pond as directed and a
few days later other fish were spawning. I am pleased that it saved our fish from a total die off.
