Great cutter

This is a mean little rotary cutter. It does the job well and cuts like a dream. I used this to cut grown up fields with grass, briars, and small trees and it did great. Some areas I cut were over 6’ tall with all kinds of vegetation and this mower preformed great.

Lift pins are too wide for class 1 hitch

Assembly hint: Don't attach the wheel until you have set up the A-frame arms. It just adds weight that makes the arm set up more difficult. Now, my real problem: This mower is supposed to be compatible with a 3 point class 1 hitch, but the lift pin ends are 32" apart. This is class 2 hitch territory. The on-line documentation says that if the pins are too wide, then they can be shifted to point inward. However, the supports for the pins make it impossible to hook up the lifts when the pins are pointed inward.

Forgetfulness Not Good

Received bush hog and started assembling it. All went well until I went to attach the PTO shaft to the gearbox on the bush hog, to my surprise or not, the bolt that attaches it securely was missing which according to the instruction book was supposed to be included. Lost two hours hunting a bolt and nut that would do the job. The cost was only about $7 but it's the principal, which is typical of tractor supply and companies hiring people who are not competent to do a simple job
