- 45 HP heavy-duty cast-iron gearbox
- Rugged rotary cutter with a 12-gauge deck construction
- Balanced stump jumper blade pan with 3 in. heat-treated forged blades
- Series 4 shielded PTO shaft with shear pin
- Adjustable laminated, puncture-resistant rear wheel
- Category 1 quick-hitch compatible hookup (Cat 1 pins included with the rotary cutter)
- Tractor horsepower: 25-60 HP
- NOTE: Gearbox ships without oil and must be filled with 85W-90 gear oil before first use; front and rear rubber guards are available for all units, do not come with - see manual for all grease points before use

Mower attachment works great and exactly what we were looking for. The only disappointment was that there is a sticker that says the guards must be attached for safety, but they DON'T come with the cutter. The rubber guards must be special ordered separately. The mfr. should include them with the cutter since they are a safety feature.

The blades were installed (I am told at the factory) incorrectly. Upon slowest rpm speed pto startup, the shear pin immediately sheared of. After third shear pin, I gave up and returned to cutter Tractor supply. Very disappointed. I've operated these same brand and size cutters for many years, never a problem until now.

For the money, it's about as good as you can expect. Easy to assemble, best to use an impact wrench to tighten everything down. Complaints...they spot welded places to save money instead of continuous seams....it ships upright to save space which makes it difficult to load on to a trailer, etc. Plus, they charge a fee to ship it to the local store (seems pretty wrong since they sometimes have them in stock). But yeah, overall I'm happy with it....use it for 5-10 years and buy a new one.

Works as it should but beware of the shearbolts that are recommended to use with it. They break very easily.
