This heavy-duty rotary cutter has a round back designed for mowing tight corners and a stump jumper blade pan with 3 in. heat-treated forged blades for a better cut. Durably built for lasting use with a 12-gauge deck, this rotary cutter delivers results all season long.

Q: I see references to tractors being to big for this cutter. I have a 90Hp tractor that produces the 540RPM for the PTO at 1600 or so RPM's. If I manage the RMP's, and speed I travel, why would my tractor be to big?

Mower attachment works great and exactly what we were looking for. The only disappointment was that there is a sticker that says the guards must be attached for safety, but they DON'T come with the cutter. The rubber guards must be special ordered separately. The mfr. should include them with the cutter since they are a safety feature.

The blades were installed (I am told at the factory) incorrectly. Upon slowest rpm speed pto startup, the shear pin immediately sheared of. After third shear pin, I gave up and returned to cutter Tractor supply. Very disappointed. I've operated these same brand and size cutters for many years, never a problem until now.

I had this for around 10 years and it has done everything I've asked it to do. Sheared the driveshaft shear pin once hitting something hard, replaced it with a 1/2" hitch pin which shears a little easier.

Horrible hardware / decent cutter

Mower seems to be fine as far as the blades and clutch housing. This mower does not have a slip clutch. Which is why a shear bolt is required. I wouldn’t recommend using the grade 2 shear bolts. I replaced 5 bolts mowing simple grass within 2 hours. I purchased a grade 5 steel bolt and have not had issues. The deck itself is thin steel and will dent easy. The hardware that comes with the cutter is cheap rubbish. Both the shear bolts and the bolt holding your rear wheel adjustment height broke within minutes of first use.
