Q: are the countyline and countrypro augers interchangable?

1 Answer
  • A: I have no data that says the CountryPro Augurs won’t work with the County Line post hole diggers won’t work. If the connecting collar for the augur has a 2.5” inside diameter and the sheer bolt holes are the correct size and in the correct location it should work.

Digs better than a groundhog

Bought this auger bit to add a 12" capability to my 3 point auger. 12 inches is the maximum recommend size for my auger. Did 2 holes effortlessly in less than 2 minutes. This thing is a digging animal. Started to engage a rock, most of the time they pop up to the top. This one is apparently big, because it broke my shear bolt on my yoke. No big deal, plus that bolt has been in this auger for 11 years. Hundreds, if not thousands of holes later it finally failed. Definitely not the bit's fault.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Exactly what I needed

Oh it works great. Grabs the soil and chews it up. Compatible with my 3-point auger and is tough. Got down deep with no problem and was right on target drilling the hole! Saved my back digging holes in hard clay soil!
