Q: Can i put a 150 foot hose on this?

- A: We do not recommend running more than 50 feet of hose on this sprayer. Running 150 feet of line causes severe friction loss, which will drastically drop your spray pressure and flow at the nozzle. For a hose run of that length, you would be much better off looking at a gas engine and roller pump setup, which provides the volume and pressure required to push fluid over long distances.2 days agoHelpful?

- A: Yes, but with limitations. Lowering your operating pressure (PSI) will only pull the spray pattern in slightly, and dropping pressure too low will disrupt your spray pattern. To significantly reduce your spray width: Shut off one nozzle: Close one side on the boomless manifold by simply twisting the nozzle up to close, to run only one side of the boom, cutting your spray width in half. It connects to the sprayer’s pump using a standard 2-pin quick-disconnect plug. had to buy a hose from pump to nozzle -- the one that came with it was about 6 inches too short. so, another trip to town (40 miles)

The provided manifold-to-nozzle hose is cut to fit when routed along the intended frame path, but variations in tank positioning or routing around the UTV frame can sometimes draw the line taut or leave it a few inches short. The feeder hose that came with mine is too short, it crimps the hose and restricts the flow!
