A great basic feed that my horses devour! Good for maintenance along with pasture/hay. The 40 lb bag is convenient for easier handling.

Good quality for the price

The Country Lane 13% all-stock commodity pellets is a good choice for nutrition and protein especially for the price when compared with other similar product brands - and it's not heavily loaded with molasses. I like that it's almost double the fat percentage of the similarly priced Producer's Pride 12% all stock textured sweet feed and that it comes in the dryer pelletized form. The cows love it. Some reviewers have complained about it coming in 40 lb bags instead of 50, but price per pound it's only .01/lb more than the 12% Producers Pride all stock sweet feed and to me provides a slightly better nutritional balance.
