The Chief 4 in. Bore x 36 in. Stroke WT Welded Hydraulic Cylinder is a high-quality welded cylinder designed for heavier loads. Designed for performance, the hydraulic cylinder has a heavy-duty piston as well as a piston stem complete with wear rings to reduce friction. The screw-in gland is removable from the rod end and means the cylinder is ideally suited for construction and agricultural applications. It will perform well as in farming applications, as well as in other industries like metal fabricating, waste/recycling and OEM trailer manufacturing.Note: This product may require up to 2 additional days for order processing prior to shipping

  • Intended use: double-acting applications
  • Piston: ductile iron with wear ring(s)
  • Gland: ductile iron, screw-in design with wear ring
  • Tube: precision-honed steel
  • Rod: ground and polished chromed steel with a minimum 75,000 PSI yield
  • Butt ;late: steel
  • End mounts: steel cross-tubes with grease zerk
  • Spacer tube: steel on 48 in. stroke and above
  • Gland seal: polyurethane U-cup
  • Wiper: polyurethane
  • Piston seal: 755 Hallite with wear ring(s)
  • All other seals: selected and designed for maximum life
  • Hydraulic cylinder is functionally tested and pressurized to 1.5 times the normal working pressure for max reliability
  • 3,000 PSI operating range on the welded hydraulic cylinder
  • Measures 45 in. retracted and 81 in. extended
  • SAE O-ring ports for efficiency
  • Black paint finish
  • Suitable for a variety of applications

Cylinder was awesome. But we had to weld a cross tube on the end to make it work. Would have been great if they came with the cross tube already on there.
