Q: Shows straps in the photo are they included
6 months ago- A: Hello Neighbor, What you see pictured are metal U-shaped tubes used to secure this tank the a surface, which are included with purchase.6 months agoHelpful?
Q: What is the item number for the straps for this tank
2 years ago- A: The item number for this band is 617442 years agoHelpful?
Q: do you sell the hold down straps for the 225 gal water tank like on the 125 gallon tank
2 years ago- A: Yes, item number 60478 is the correct band, you will need to purchase 2 of them.2 years agoHelpful?
Q: is this appropriate for potable water?
3 years ago- A: Hi, Yes, it is suitable for potable drinking water.3 years agoHelpful?
Q: Approximately how long can I expect the water in the tank to be usable before I have to empty the tank and refill. Using for RV, non-drinking water. Thanks!
3 years ago- A: Hey there, Sorry, but we can't answer your question with a high degree of confidence. We get feedback that spans a wide spectrum. Some folks tell us that algae shows up in their water within days, while others say it takes months. Much depends on the water quality within your specific region of the country. You may want to contact your local heath department for more information.3 years agoHelpful?
Q: How much does it weigh ?
3 years ago- A: 47 lbs.3 years agoHelpful?
Q: Can this be used to transport non-potable water say to a campground so I can refill my campers water tank to shower and flush and other things? Looking to strap it down in my pickup truck but concerned about baffles to prevent sloshing
3 years ago- A: Skysch22, Sure! But you would need to strap it down in your truck.3 years agoHelpful?
Q: Can you connect a pressure washer to it with a water pump
5 years ago- A: By default Norwesco tanks have venting “built in”, as in most cases the lid of this tank is vented, and therefore the tank can be pumped from, however this is also based upon a normal flow rate. With what I would presume to be a “standard setup” there should be no problem, and with that small of a tank I would presume it will not be too rapid of a draw to cause any difficulties by the standard venting of the tank lid.5 years agoHelpful?
Q: Is this a full drain tank? leg portion won't contain any water?
5 years ago- A: Yes, that is correct.5 years agoHelpful?
Q: I am looking to store maple sap until cooking. If the contents freeze will the tank split?
5 years ago- A: I’d make sure I accounted for expansion space.5 years agoHelpful?
