Tasty...

Two of stars added solely for the flavor. Was not a good tomato year, so I'm not sure if I got a good idea of how this tomato variety is supposed to work out. The vine itself was rather vigorous, and it did try to make many tomatoes, it just wasn't very successful. Half the tomatoes would fall off before they were ready to ripen. I took them inside to ripen but they always get shriveled and bruise-y looking before they ever reached ripeness. I cut off the worst parts and roasted them with other veggies anyway. Except for the really green ones they DID taste good roasted, I can only imagine a sauce with that flavor! Or even better tasting maybe if they would ripen! I've mostly had to just use them in varying shades of green/yellow turning a faint red, I imagine the ripe ones must taste even better. I may try this variety one more time, I would really like to make at least one pot of sauce a summer that I grew most of the ingredients, and I believe this would be tasty! (Especially mixed with that sunrise sauce tomato if that one will behave!) Purchased this in GA 2023. So, maybe 1 1/2 of the stars for performance this year, but good flavor and potential earned it a 3 star, for now. If it behaves like this next year I'll have to reduce it to one star.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Outshine Roma in every way!

I was thrilled to find this variety for sale at my local grocery; I've used canned San Marzanos (even though expensive) for all my special tomato dishes because of their wonderful flavor. The yield was heavy and had no wilt. I'll plant these again and again; I've canned some great tomato jam and tomato sauce from this wonderful variety.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Crazy Good

I planted four plants, about 30" apart, in a new raised garden with ideal soil. The plants themselves grew huge & healthy, with 80+ incredible fruits per plant, and they were exactly as promised: Incredible taste, firm, very few seeds, meaty, and a flavor from a tomato I've yet to taste before. Had these canned many times, but never fresh and then canned myself with this 'fresh' a taste. Bright, latin, and substantial, but light and crisp at the same time. Just amazing.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Good but Wife says plant Roma's

Planted 4 San Marzano and had great crop. Very good flavor but the wife likes Romas because they are more meaty for sauce

Yes, I recommend this product.
