Line feed is garbage

I purchased a Worx wg163 several years ago and have been very happy with it. It was getting at the end of life so I decided to get another. I ordered the wg162. To your engineering dept: Whoever thought this mechanism for the line feed was a workable solution should be fired. The .065 line is fragile enough and to have to stop every 5 feet and start/stop the trimmer until line is fed is asinine. I ended up turning it up and manually pushing the line feed button. Just a total nightmare to weedeat and edge my small yard. I'm exploring my return/exchange options to get something that doesn't send my frustration level through the roof. Do better, Worx.

New one quit working completely

I have many Worx tools and my last trimmer lasted me about 5 years. I just bought a new one a few months back and it already died. I'm hoping it will be taken care of as I didn't get much use out of it yet. Other than that I was happy with the trimmer. It's light enough to cut all my weeds which is about 3 acres worth and I don't get tired of holding it like most trimmers. It's pretty powerful for cordless and last longer if you use the bigger 20v battery.
Yes, I recommend this product.

String retention is poor

String holder is too large and string gets thrown from trimmer 2 spools per 10 minute battery usage.

Manual line feed - what a hassle

I bought a bundled package of 3 WORX tools, all work great but I didn't realize that the trimmer a manual feed. The manual line feed is such a hassle, I have to stop every 5 minutes to refeed the line. Please stop making these!

The trimmer does have an auto feed system, this is powered on when the tool is first started. Right when it starts the tool will release .25" of line and to push more out you would stop the tool and start it again.
