Q: My Galvanized steel culvert is 18" in diameter. Will this 18" in x12" fit that culvert? There is some confusing language in the description saying inside diameter 12".

Q: will this connector connect a concrete culver to hdpe culvert pipe?

  • A: I think it would if the OD is same. It’s built to lock on the steel culvert to keep from pulling apart. Of course it wouldn’t be locked on the concrete side. Good luck.

This ring did an excellent job of joining a short piece of 18" diameter culvert pipe on the end of a culvert already in the ground. The welds held and the bolts were tightened enough that the joined short piece felt as if it were always part of the original pipe.

Yes, I recommend this product.
