- A: Howdy neighbor! To keep your slotted tubing from getting clogged with dirt and debris, you should wrap it with a fabric filter sock or surround it with washed drainage stone. These act as a protective barrier, allowing water to pass through while keeping out the silt and sand that can eventually fill up the pipe!a month agoHelpful?
