Q: Will it break up clogs in the distribution box?
6 months ago1 Answer
- A: Hello, thank you for your question. This product works by adding specialized bacteria and enzymes into the septic system that help break down organic buildup in the tank and leach/drain field to improve flow and drainage. It’s meant to help improve sluggish drain fields and prevent organic clogs in the soil and pipes, but it is not designed as a mechanical solution for clearing physical blockages like debris or roots lodged in a distribution box pipe. If there’s a hard clog in the distribution box itself, that typically needs to be cleared manually or with appropriate plumbing tools before the treatment will help the system operate normally.6 months agoHelpful?
