Customize your electric fence using American Farm Works High-Tensile Wire 2-3 Gritted Crimping Sleeves for 12-1/2 Gauge Wire. These crimping sleeves come in handy when you're looking to splice or terminate fence wire, in this case wire that measures 12-1/2 ga. in size, and to create end post loops. The gritted interior of the crimp sleeve creates a secure hold on the wires, thus preventing slipping after installation. Once compressed, the wire sleeve maintains a secure connection for long-term use through the elements. Depending on the job, multiple crimp sleeves may be recommended. Each pack comes with 25 total high-tensile electric fence sleeves.

I have always just spliced the wires together...but crimping these is easier, uses less wire and looks clean

They hold okay if you use a lot of them.

These crimp sleeves are okay to use in a pinch but they don’t have a lot of holding power. You have to use three just for a spice or they will give. Two of them are okay for setting a loop around the post. They are weak in comparison to the longer crimp sleeves made out of a harder aluminum material. The wire will pop before those give.

No, I do not recommend this product.
