The post hole digger works as advertised. I gave it a lower than normal rating because of the following reason, I did encounter a problem when you’re on a hillside going down the hill. There is nothing that prevents the post hole digger from swinging into close to the PTO shaft, this automatically causes the shear bolts to break, which they’re supposed to do a better design would be to prevent it from over swinging so you wouldn’t break your share bolts, I discovered this after breaking two bolts, the workaround as I can only auger holes going uphill. I cannot auger them going downhill so it takes twice as much time.Other than that it worked fine. The quality is there. I was using an 18 inch auger and did not have any issues unless I encountered large roots or rock.
