The AgKNX 6 in. Heavy-Duty Auger with 2 in. Round is for use with tractor mounted post hole diggers and skid steers to make fence installation easier. The heavy-duty auger attaches to most 2 in. gearbox output shafts. This auger features thick double flighting with more extensive welding and a reinforced input shaft collar. Good at digging through dense soil, ok durability

We got this bit because we were having trouble digging through our clay soil with the older bit we had and it didn’t have the extra metal clips at the bottom to help it dig. This bit definitely made quicker progress than the other bit. The only reason I am not giving it 5stars is because some of the small rocks we hit digging 3 holes managed to bend and roll parts of the drill bit in the mid section of the bit. So even though it digs better than our other bit it doesn’t seem as durable. Regardless happy with our purchase we were able to get our fence posts drilled out.
