This is the most worst hay I’ve ever purchased. No clue how it can appear to be green & good quality hay on the outside, while basically just straw on the inside.  I asked my husband if he could pick up a few bales at our local Bucks County, PA store as we weren’t ready to stock up on our winter supply & wanted something to hold us over til then. He ended up bringing home 16 of these square bales. My horses have eaten some lower quality hay prior to finding our current supplier.  This is lower than low quality hay. They won’t eat it!!  It’s unacceptable that Tractor & Supply is selling such terrible & poor quality at $12 per bale.   These are approximately the same size & weight as the usual square bales we buy), those of which are good quality & priced at $7 per bale.  We had to go and get some of their usual hay despite still having all of this hay.  We decided to use this as cover over our grass seed as its quality is like straw.  I usually refrain from writing bad reviews but our horses are not picky, this hay is just that bad & felt obligated to warn others.  I don’t know if it’s due to oversight within the bales we purchased but we will not be buying hay from Tractor & Supply again.

Purchase of hay for delivery was easy. Delivery person was quick and handled well enough that i will take advantage of this service again.

Our local Tractor Supply is amazing. Georgie went above and beyond to make sure I got exactly what I needed and got my delivery there in record time. We are lucky to have her!
