Truck bed fuel tanks carry extra fuel in a pickup’s bed. Depending on the tank type, they can supply the truck’s fuel system or hold fuel for transfer to tractors, other equipment or vehicles.
An auxiliary fuel tank connects to the truck’s fuel system to provide an additional fuel supply. A transfer tank holds fuel for dispensing into separate equipment or vehicles, typically through a pump and hose.
Package contents vary. A tank may be sold on its own or with transfer equipment. Check the listing for a pump, hose and nozzle so you know what’s included and what you’ll need to get separately.
A tank and toolbox combo brings fuel storage and a separate tool compartment together in one truck bed unit. It gives you a place for tools and work gear alongside your fuel supply.
A fuel gauge shows the fuel level inside the tank. That’s different from a transfer meter, which measures how much fuel passes through the dispensing system during a fill-up.
