Not Thick Enough
I’m very disappointed with these. A tremendous waste of time and money. I installed 40 of these. When I turned the fence on most of them arc from the wire to the aluminum strip. Then the voltage hitting the aluminum strip leaks to my posts. From there the stray voltage leaks through my gate. I have no choice but to redo all end-post terminations with a better product.
5 wire, high tensile galvanized wire, 6” wooden posts with a Gallagher 3.6 Joule charger.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Junk
I used these for end post and corner post. Issue is, the high tensile wire arcs to the aluminum insert and though the actual insulator is supposed to be non conductive, it's not. With the non conductive coating separating you from the wire, the wire will zap you. This is also why the zap is able to travel through the gate for a surprise during rainy conditions.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Heavy duty with a metallic reinforcing backing. Seems like it will hold up for many years.
