They are actually a top quality brand - Green Supreme - Douglas Fir - low ash.

Soft wood pellets burn fast and run out quickly. Hardwood is much better but tractor supply doesn’t keep hardwood pellets in stock so you’re sort of forced to buy the soft wood pellets. Soft wood pellets turn into dust which clogs a pellet stoves auger and requires disassembly and cleaning frequently. Also, when you order for delivery from tractor supply they send a large truck and in my case left behind a shipping pallet for only six bags which was incredibly wasteful. I won’t be buying this product again.

Way too much ash from this product. Not worth it.

We've been heating exclusively with wood pellets for 15 years now. These are absolutely the worst pellets we have ever used. The amount of ash just chokes our pellet stove. The heat exchangers and back wall get a thick layer of weird sticky ash buildup, and the ash in the ash pan is very heavy and feels like sand. I am constantly chiseling this hard crusty ash buildup from the burn put that builds up after maybe two or three bags. We need to clean much more frequently than with the old pellets Tractor Supply used to sell.. Have tried damper and feed rate adjustments and they just burn terribly with nowhere near the heat we get even from average pellets..
