- A: Hi Neighbor! To change the battery on a Winchester Home 7 safe with a SecuRam or similar electronic lock, pull/unclip the keypad housing upward from the bottom, or remove the small Phillips screw underneath. Replace the old 9-volt alkaline battery (Duracell or Energizer recommended) with a new one, then snap the keypad back into place.3 months agoHelpful?

Safe seems good so far for the price point. Took off stars for shipping. The shipping company missed 2 scheduled delivery windows due to TSC mistyping my zip code (why is this even a manual process in 2026?) and shipping it to the wrong state. The shipping company eventually caught the error after several calls and them telling me it would be delivered on time. TSC corpoate customer support wouldn't answer the phone after multiple tries and being in hold for hours. Eventually got my local TSC to help somewhat but they were limited in what they could do. Morale of the story is: DO NOT order a safe from TSC off the Internet. Go into the store and order it from there because then the local store can actually help and you can talk to a person. Believe the reviews about the horrible TSC shipping fiascos.
