Fantastic Feeder/No Leaks!

This is a very sturdy feeder. Heavy glass. So had another hook or zip tie to help hold it sturdier. Hummingbirds love it ! The silicon petals are soft instead of the hard metal ones. It does not leak as long as after you wash it make sure to push each petal from the inside to press firmly to the plastic lid they are in. If they aren’t pressed firmly and become loose , you will see leakage. Just do that after each wash and there will be no issues with leaking. Pour a little plain water without sugar in it on top of the hanging lid to avoid possibility of ants. There is a moat to hold the plain water just for this. I love this hummingbird feeder and would buy it again if needed. Finally no leaks and no ants!

Glass shattered

While it may be my own fault, this shattered in my sink as I was filling it. I often pour hot water in my feeders to disinfectant them before refilling with syrup, after pouring out the hot water i must not have waited long enough and the temperature change caused the glass to shatter. I have never had this happen with any other style of feeder.

No, I do not recommend this product.
