Q: how do you remove the flower feeding portals for cleaning
a month ago1 Answer
- A: Disassembling the Base and Portals Unscrew the Glass Bottle: Hold the glass bottle firmly and rotate the plastic base counter-clockwise to separate the two main sections. Separate the Base: The plastic base typically consists of two halves that snap together. Locate the seam where the perches are and pull the top and bottom sections apart. Tip: If the parts are stuck due to dried nectar, soak the entire base in very warm water for 15 minutes to dissolve the sugar crystals. Remove the Flower Ports: Once the base is open, you can remove the individual flower portals. Wiggle Method: Do not pull them straight out; instead, gently "wiggle" or twist them back and forth to release them from the holes. Push from Behind: If they are difficult to grip, you can sometimes push them through from the inside of the base cover once it is separateda month agoHelpful?

Looks Great. Bright Red!
I've found that the best hummingbird feeders are as red as possible. A feeder might be beautiful but if it doesn't attract hummingbirds it is just decor. This one looks great, is well constructed, and is pure red. The ant moat is a plus.

Red is right
Hummingbirds found it right away! I like that the glass is red, it's easy to clean and well made. And I like that it has a built-in ant moat. I wish disconnecting from the moat was easier.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Lovely to look at but not ao sure the flimsy wire hanger provided will hold up the feeder let alone a full feeder.
No, I do not recommend this product.
