- 1500 WATT INFRARED CARBON HEATING ELEMENT - Our 1500 Watt infrared carbon heater is a type of infrared heating device that uses a hydrocarbon filament instead of a tungsten filament as a heating element. Such a heating element has a high thermal conductivity and, accordingly, has a higher heat transfer.
- TELESCOPIC POLE - The supplied telescopic pole allows you to adjust your Westinghouse infrared lamp at the exact desired height for optimum performance and look.
- REMOTE CONTROL - The handy remote control lets you manage the heater bulb at a distance. Pre-heat the zone before you go outside, or control the element from distant seating area without the need to leave your comfortable spot. This remote offers full control of the heater including turning it on and off.
- TIP-OVER PROTECTION - If the unit is knocked over by the wind, kids or even the family pet, it will shut off automatically to prevent any chance of fire. Just stand it back up and turn it on again. The wide & heavy base makes it difficult to knock over, but accidents happen and this feature will keep you safe even if you are not present.
- WATER AND DUST RESISTANT - The IP55 rating allows you to leave this unit outside all season long and not worry about dust and water filtering in. If you accidentally spray it while watering flowers or cleaning there will be no harm done to the heater.
