We live in the mountains, it snows here a ton - great for the slopes, not for grilling! We installed the BAF Obsidian 120v and had an outlet installed atop the underside of my weatherproof grill canopy to be able to hook it up. Love it! Cheers to year round cooking warm and dry!

I have owned all kinds of ‘space heaters’ and small, 120V heaters (electric, oil, etc.) throughout my life and this thing is on another level, entirely! It’s incredible how quick and effective it is at heating a space like my two car garage (331 ft², 3558 ft³). As soon as I received it, I put it out in my gym in my garage and within two hours, it went from 44.6 F to 64.1 F! The simplicity and intuitiveness of the function and operation and remote are amazing. Add on top of that, it looks really clean and is stylish. Its construction is extremely well thought-out and it radiates heat out in front of the grill with little to no heat emanating to the sides. That usual smell one gets after they turn on a heater is completely absent. This Obsidian heater from BAF is worth every single penny! As an awesome bonus, my sales guy, JP, was enjoyable to work with and there was absolutely no pressure from him. He was very thorough in answering many questions I had for him and he took care of me. Good old customer service is alive at BAF! Overall, I am more than satisfied with my purchase annd experience and I strongly recommend this to anyone needing a lightweight and silent heater! Expensive, yes, but, as the old saying goes, you definitely get what you pay for with this Obsidian heater from BAF! It is worth every penny!
