  • A: Hello, thank you for your question. Vetericyn Plus is safe for cats and can be applied to cuts, scrapes, and open wounds. It is non-toxic if licked. However, feral cats may be difficult to treat and open wounds carry a higher risk of infection. For large, deep, or infected wounds, or if the cat cannot be monitored regularly, veterinary care is recommended in addition to using the gel.
