1 Answer
  • A: Yes, our Vetericyn "Plus" line is safe for all animals at all life stages. Some of our products say feline or canine because they are in specific parts of the store or online marketplace that are specific to a species. In Tractor Supply, you can find our products in the feline, canine, equine, and livestock areas.

Q: Can this be used on a 3 to 4 week old kitten, whose butt is raw from diarrhea

2 Answers
  • A: Yes! You can use any Vetericyn PLUS products on 3-4 week old kittens. For this particular case, I would suggest our liquid formula over the hydrogel formula for kittens as it will keep the area cleaner. Our liquid is available in various sizes in the pet section of Tractor Supply. Good luck

Q: My cat has a serious issue with scratching and itching and over grooming with no fleas whatsoever will this help?

2 Answers
  • A: Our liquid and hydrogel sprays are indicated for wounds, skin irritations, and itching. With that said, your cat maybe suffering from an allergic reaction. While our products help relieve symptoms of allergies on the skin, it will not address the root cause of what is causing the allergic reaction. If the condition worsens, you may need to discuss this with your veterinarian to find the root cause. Good luck and hope your cat gets better soon!

Not sharing a photo of my cats wound. This works very well to soothe minor wounds. My cats like to tussle and sometimes they scratch eachother I use this for when that happens to soothe the burn

Works great on my cats wound

We got this product a while back and did not have the need for it till my cat got an infected paw from "attacking" the catus bush in the neighbors backyard. We have apply this on the wound for 3 days and the infection clear up pretty well. The cat did not like it at first but he is okay with us spraying the gel on his paw now so I guess it doesnot sting. Overall its does help with the would on my cat.

Vetericyn Animal Wellness Plus Feline Antimocrobial Hydrogel is what every pet owner needs! It works great on hotspots or a spot that your pet might be licking too much. It soothes the area and my pet finally leaves it alone! I cannot recommend this product enough!

This stuff works!

I have a Ragdoll cat and I noticed that she had scabs near her tail and that the hair was thinning out because I believe she was either licking or biting her skin. I did not see fleas, but still gave her a flea treatment. When I posted a question in the search bar regarding what to do to help a cat with scabs on its skin, I was directed to the Vetericyn web site and the HydroGel Antimicrobial Feline spray. I was reasonably priced and I took a chance and ordered it. I also like that my order could be paid with my Amazon account and delivered by Amazon. After about two weeks of use, twice a day, I noticed that my cat's scabs near her tail were healing and the fur was starting to grow back. I will be ordering another bottle of HydroGel. I will be honest, when I first started spraying this on my cat's skin near her tail, she did not like it, but as she started to heal, I sensed she understood I was trying to help her and she reluctantly tolerated me spraying her.

Yes, I recommend this product.
