Q: Can this be used on a dog?

1 Answer
  • A: Howdy neighbor! Yes, you can absolutely use Vetericyn Plus Antimicrobial Feline Facial Therapy on a dog because its active ingredient, hypochlorous acid, is completely safe and non-toxic for all animal species. Even though the bottle is marketed for cats, the gentle, antibiotic-free formula works perfectly for flushing out a dog's ears and eyes, or treating minor facial scrapes and skin irritation.

Q: I found a feral cat outside my home that looks to have been bitten or a fight with another cat. It has sores on both sides of its face near its mouth and there is pus and the hair is missing i think due to infection. Will this help?

1 Answer
  • A: While Vetericyn Plus Antimicrobial Feline Facial Therapy is safe for cats and can help with minor sores, it is not a sufficient treatment for a facial abscess with pus. An abscess, especially one with pus, requires professional veterinary care. The product can be used as a topical cleanser to keep the area clean, but it will not resolve the deep-seated bacterial infection characteristic of a cat bite abscess.

Q: Why's it making my kittens eye red and look worse then they did before I wasted money on this product? Her entire eyes are red, I feel horrible. I got this to help her not make her worse. This product sucks, I could've bought something else that worked.

1 Answer
  • A: There are several factors that could be causing your kitten's eye to worsen--regardless of the topical treatment chosen. I would suggest an examination by a veterinarian to understand the root cause of the eye condition. There could be a foreignbody in the eye, scratched cornea, or there could be an allergy that is causing this. Vetericyn's Feline Facial Therapy is non-sensitizing or irritating and has a similar safety profile to saline. It is unlikely that the product itself is causing the redness. If you believe the product needs to be tested to make sure it has not been tampered with, we are happy to send it to our labs.

Massage time! Cat loves this product!

My cat is just shy of a year old. Was abandoned or lost at a very very young age, much to early to be separated from its mother. Located him after following cries for three days in a row. Took him in, bathed fed and spoiled him rotten. Bonding by using the facial therapy product to provide massages and give the much needed feeling of love and security that the kitten didn't receive due to being separated at such a young age from its mother. He absolutely enjoys massage time! No sting product. Love this stuff!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Helped Heal Small Cut on Face

My cat put his full face into an interactive treat maze and got his face stuck in it. So, he had a cut that wouldn't go away. I used this 2 times a day and it made a difference quickly.

Amazing for lil cuts

My younger cat kept getting tiny scratches on her nose bridge from picking fights with her older sister, and this healed them up so quickly and prevented any injections

Yes, I recommend this product.

Facial Therapy Works

Your product is excellent for kitty acne. My cat's face looks 100 percent better! Thank you so much! I showed Facial Therapy to my vet who knew of your products, but not the Facial Therapy.
