Q: Why is the phosphorus so high in ratio to the calcium? Is it safe for a wether with these ratios? Is this formulated as a balancer for pasture or for a grain diet? Mine are on pasture. Thanks!

- A: Hello, Calcium is found more in the natural environment compared to that of phosphorus. Our formulation is set to try and balance that out to stay closer to the 2:1 or 1:1 ratio that is suggested. Our formulations are based on that of a typical diet of goats and sheep. The formulation is not geared specifically toward a grain or pasture diet. Before starting any supplement, we recommend speaking with a veterinarian in regards to feeding this product to wether goats. Thank you, SCAHealth3 years ago
