Triple Crown Diamond Smart Chopped Forage is a fortified blend of orchard and alfalfa hay that provides a complete diet for mature and performance horses. Its EZ chew form makes it a perfect choice for horses that have trouble chewing and swallowing long-stemmed hay.

Product can be mixed with water to aid in hydration. Product may be mixed with the grain portion of the diet to slow rate of intake. When feeding as a replacement to feed/grain, should be fed in combination with a minimum of 0.50% of body weight in additional hay/pasture so that your horse is getting a minimum of 1.50% body weight in forage. Provide salt and plenty of fresh, clean water at all times. Keep product fresh in cool, dry storage.

no delivery though UPS says it was

Per UPS & the tracking, the 4 bags of Triple Crown forage was delivered and is sitting on my front porch. As we were not at home then and the gate to the house was closed and locked, I am certain that a UPS driver DID NOT carry 4 bags of forage 1/4 mi up hill to the house when he/she could have put them in the barn instead. UPS claims I had to contact tractor Supply regarding this. Please get back to me and let me know how this is proceding. It is not Tractor supply's fault BUT it is what it is. You have my contact info thru my neighbors account.

My horses love this. I have to cut them back on grain during the summer, but wanted something that would still provide some of the nutrients and vitamins they need. This was a great replacement.

Great addition to senior diet.

When shopping online at our local tractor supply, there was a special on this, so I gave it a try. Our picky eater 34-year-old gelding likes it. Unlike most seniors, he will not eat anything soaked. I had been using a product called Chaffhaye to mix with his pellets, but that became discontinued. I tried the similar product, Alfa hay and BB doesn’t go for it, even though everyone else that tries it likes it. I switched to wetting chopped hay and stirring it in with his pellets. This product is a smaller bag, so easier for a senior person to handle. It’s packed lighter so it’s easier to get out of the bag. Only drawback I have found is that at regular price It’s a lot more expensive than other chopped hay. I don’t know that I will be able to continue it once I run out of the supply that I purchased on sale. I need to add that our gelding loves to chew on her and grass, but gets spit out eventually. This product seems to all get swallowed. I don’t see any laying around from overnight even though there are some pellets around.
