Won't charge dead battery

If your battery is completely dead, this will not charge it. To charge the battery on my RV or a truck I rarely drive, I have to put jumper cables from another battery to trick it into charging. It says my cables aren't connected if the battery is dead. This is not what you expect from a battery charger.

Buy the warranty you'll need it!

Lasted less than 1 year. Used 4 or 5 times maybe. It's really sad when my old charger from the 1990s outlasts this one.

After very little use the compressor failed. I had hoped paying a bit more for a brand name would have reliability. If you purchase this unit consider buying the replacement policy.

Not for ATV

I purchased this for use on an ATV battery. When i connected the charger to the battery, it instantly reverted to 6v even though i have a 12 volt battery. I could not get it to change over to 12 volt. I returned the charger and got a straight 12 volt charger and am able to charge the battery just fine.
