- A: It is simple to use the Schumacher Electric Farm and Ranch FR01576 to charge your 12V car battery. With your vehicle and all its accessories off, connect the charger’s clamps to the battery. Refer to your car’s owner’s manual to determine if you have a negative- or positive-grounded vehicle. Modern vehicles sold in the US should be negative grounded. If your car is negative grounded, connect the positive (red) clamp to the positive post of the battery and then connect the negative clamp to the vehicle chassis or engine block. Once connected, plug the charger into an AC electrical outlet. Next select your battery type and then your desired charging rate, either 6<>2A or Boost. Junk, absolute junk. Did not work out if the box. Also
The buttons are not labeled with what amperage they are, just pictures. The pictures are not defined in the manual
Either. Somebody really missed with designing this thing.

I have no idea what to press. Need a graphic identifying function of each button. Manual explains what does what but I cant connect the name to the buttons! I fix or repair vehicles as a rule so am pretty clueless about how to guess.
