I use these pellets for cat litter. Being in cat rescue we try to find products that work well at a reasonable price. It is great for cats because when they urinate, it turns the pellets to sawdust and it is easy to scoop out. No dust like the regular and clumping litter. A lot cleaner to use. Remember, don't mist it like you would for horses, just leave it as is and the cats will do the rest. Great buy for people with multiple cats looking for a cheaper and effective alternative.

Most of these reviews address a different brand. Not the new Tractor Supply brand. It is a very poor substitute - starts out brownish and is not nearly as absorbent as the ones they use to carry for less cost. I will not buy any more of it.

Well big mistake!!! I bought one last bag... this is awful, just terrible quality. It does not smell like pjne, but chemicals. It has a string sour chemically smell. It only gets worse when peed and pooped on. I won't be buying this anymore. Too bad because I used it for the last five plus years. Now I have to find actual pine pellets that are not disgusting and dont do the job!

I use this as cat litter and it's great. I have multiple indoor cats and I was paying a small fortune for cat litter until I started using this. I only pay a quarter of what I was paying for regular cat litter, and it wasn't the expensive kind either. You should try it.

This product has made our lives easier. I replaced my cat’s litter product with this. Now he doesn’t sneeze when he uses the litter box. No more granules of litter around the litter box or in the carpet. No more ammonia smell. I know his health will be better because these pellets don’t have the harmful chemicals of litter formulas. The pellets don’t harden with age and break down well. They are lightweight and spread evenly.
