Doesn't put out as much smoke as other pellets but

The burn rate and consistency you get with respect to slow cooks is top notch. Oh, and the flavor is pretty awesome---not overwhelming---but just smoky enough. If you want more of a smoke flavor, get a smoke tube and add in some hickory pellets. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is TS doesn't indicate what hardwoods are in the blend.....

I like the price and would have given a 5 if Tractor Supply would put what and which of the hard woods these are made of. These are more suited for BBQ cooking not smoking on my Traeger. Are is something in these pellets that TS does not what us to know?

Ash, absolutely produces the most ash of any pellet I have ever tried. Dumped my hopper and will be using them a mulch in the garden.
