Do not waste your money. Comes with half the hardware needed for top mounting. The locking mechanism is a solid 3/8" off from lining up. Save your money

Not as great as I thought

I have mixed emotions on this box. It’s the perfect size for my trailer and was easy to install. It holds all of my tie down gear & straps.
However, it’s advertised as a dry box and it’s not! I noticed one day after washing the trailer at a car wash that a small amount of water had seeped under the weatherstrip and gotten inside.
Earlier this week, we had 2 hard rain storms, I went to check on the trailer and the box had an 1”-1 1/2” of water sitting in it.
Glad it had drains cause it was easy to get the water out but now my ratchet straps are soaked and many of the metal parts are rusted.
For $300 the lid gasket is crap! I will have to add some stick on weatherstrip to ensure it’s water tight, but I could have just bought the $99 box and done that saving myself $200.
If you’re planning on using this as an icebox only, then it’s great, but if using as a toolbox get the cheaper on and add your own weatherstripping.

Might purchase again only draw back is the lock very difficult to install is not long enough to thread on. Had to pinch box with vice grip but box did not give much.
