Tractor Supply 5.3 cu. ft. 18 in. x 46 in. x 14 in. Matte Low-Profile Trailer Tool Box

This is a solid well-made toolbox, especially for the price. I agree with many other commenters, the latch is junk. There was even a box in the store with a broken latch and we couldn't get it open. Tractor supply sells a Dee Zee brand replacement. I had to file the Dee Zee latch a little tiny bit to make it work, but very very easy. I used screws with double-nuts and locktite (so it won't come loose) instead of the provided rivets.

I purchased this box and had it installed on my trailer and three days later there was a rain storm and water leaked in from both corners on the (rear area of the box ) where the lid opens up to it’s highest point. Went back to the store where I purchased it and explained the situation and was told that there wasn’t anything that could be done ; so , I am stuck with a box that just holds water. Today I went outside to open it up to check to see if I had to get more water out , then as I put the key in to unlock it the key lock pulled completely out of the box. Now I am not even able to lock it ; so , I’m stuck with a box that I can’t use , unless I wanted a box to catch rain water. I wouldn’t have such a negative review ; if , the issue was resolved with an replacement when I addressed the issue at the beginning ; especially , for the price I paid for it ! Maybe I just purchased the bad one out of the Batch !
