However, I am unsure how to rate this product and far as actual rodent repellent. I sprayed it on all of the areas that we are aware mice are entering our basement and we still heard them running around after spraying.

We’ve worked with pest control and they keep sealing every hole they find, but we needed a more proactive solution. This seemed to help repel them from getting under our porch, which is where they usually found their way in. So far this fall, we haven’t had any come in. In addition, we also used it to spray our Christmas lights because our local squirrel population has been biting through them multiple years in a row. It seems to have helped at least so far this year since they haven’t been to any cords yet.
