Q: After the mice eat this where do they die? Am I gonna have to fish dead mice out of my walls?
2 years ago- A: Rodents after they consume a lethal dose will most likely go back to their nest to die. So if they are living in your walls, correct. We recommend placing bait stations on the exterior of your home to help prevent rodents from entering and to kill them outside vs in your house2 years agoHelpful?
Q: After the mice eat this, would an animal who eats the mice get sick from eating it?
7 years ago- A: Unfortunately there hasn't been definitive testing done to determine the risk of "secondary poisoning" (when a dog or cat eats a rodent that died from eating bait). There are many variables that can impact how a pet would react (type of animal - dog or cat, size/weight of the animal, quantity of other food eaten, etc.) The active ingredient in this product is Bromethalin, which does not require mice to eat a lot of bait in order to die. A 1 oz Block of this bait will kill up to 12 mice. It kills faster than other baits, so rodents will cease feeding after consuming a lethal dose. While we can't guarantee that a pet won't get sick, unless your pet is consuming a large quantity of dead mice as their primary food source, it's unlikely that you would see any adverse reactions.7 years agoHelpful?
