Q: Is the sail shade included with this model? What size posts and how many do I need? Also can it be anchored to a stucco house? If so is the hardware included for this application? Can you buy replacement sail shades?

- A: Hi there, Yes, the shade sail is included with that kit. The posts would be 4x4. You would need 2 - 8ft lengths for the supporting posts and 3 - 12ft lengths for the top of the pergola. The surface securing hardware is not included. Yes you can purchase replacement shade sails. Since we do not do any installations, we are limited on the advice we can offer in terms of anchoring the pergola and securing hardware. We do recommend anchoring your pergola regardless of the weight of the structure once built and checking with your local building codes for compliance and if you have a HOA checking with them as well. Depending on whether you are securing to concrete, brick, wood or directly into the ground, each surface is different and requires different hardware to make your build safe and secure. We recommend reaching out to your local building centre or hardware store for further assistance regarding anchoring your pergola and the best hardware to use for your build.4 years agoHelpful?
