Q: Can someone please let me know what the actual lifting/skidding capacity is? Someone mentioned 300lbs, but for crying out loud, i can move 300lbs with my hands. Surely this skidding arm can lift much more than 300lbs?

1 Answer
  • A: This item is for skidding only, not lifting. The manufacturer stated 600lb for skidding.

Not worth it

Absolute garbage. Missing parts initially therefore had a 7 to 10 Business day delay to get missing washers. Then finally got it assembled and first attempt at pulling a 22 inch diameter hardwood 12 foot in length the bolt connecting the riser arms sheared as if it was a number two pencil, thereby twisting and distorting the side arms. I’d been in contact with customer service at timber tuff three times before even pulling one single piece of wood, and after reviewing my claim, the warranty department denied there was a problem, claiming it was “overweighted and a customer induced problem“ not any kind of manufacturer defect. So now, three weeks after placing my order on tractor supply, getting the runaround from timber tuff customer service and finally getting it assembled, only to have it turn out to be a piece of garbage and have literally moved no wood and lost nearly $200, not to mention my wasted time. Don’t buy this! Save your money for a hydraulic grapple arm, like I should’ve.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Worth what I paid for it.

Worked very well, feel I got my money's worth on this. Had to skid some cedar logs down hill. Felt like I had control with this set-up.

Easy to use, strong!

So glad there weren’t too many parts to put together! It was sturdy and easy to use/safe to use. It was compatible with both of our mowers, and it helped us get some small old trees out after a storm.
