A: Mosquitoes generally do not spend time in the grass, especially if it is cut short and well maintained. They prefer cool, damp, shady places such as dense brush, shrubbery, carports, under decks and porches. They are weak flyers and frequently land on vertical surfaces such as trees, fences, shrubs, porches, etc., to rest. For mosquito control we do not recommend spraying your grass, but treat all those areas that mosquitoes prefer as I mentioned above. Only use this product to spray your grass if you are trying to get rid of lawn insects as listed on the label. Once the product dries (normally 2-3 hours) you can let your dogs back outside.
