Used these all last year and set then out again this year. After only a couple hours there is already a thick layer of dead flies inside the trap. Sure they smell bad, but that's what draws the flies in. Easy to change out, and no real mess to clean up. Just wish there were more available IN the stores!

I have bought numerous fly Captivator‘s, and they have worked amazing! I purchased this milk jug top and used the same star bar beat in the jug and caught maybe 10% of the flies that the fly Captivator trap does. We love the flight Captivator because we can empty it and refill it, where the trap and toss works wonderfully too but cannot be refilled. I would not recommend these milk jug tops, But if you get there fly Captivator traps and put them every 15 to 20 feet in your barn, around your trash cans, and on your back patio it has cut our flies by 70 to 80%

Traps hundreds of flies. You can use any "jug" that this fits, including a 20 oz plastic tea bottle.
