Q: Can I leave it in my garage when temperatures get below zero in the winter?

- A: Hello Jeff, We recommend placing a moisture/protective barrier between your safe and concrete floor to prevent any moisture, mildew and rust damage to the safe. Installing your safe in a place with climate control (heat in the winter and cooling in the summer) is highly recommended. In areas of high humidity or frequent temperature fluctuations (garages) it is recommended to take appropriate precautions to ward against moisture damage. We strongly encourage the use of an internal dehumidifier and/or desiccants to protect your contents from rust or mildew. Internal dehumidifiers should not be in direct contact with the side or back walls.9 months agoHelpful?

- A: Hello Matt, the exterior dimensions of this safe are 55" X 35" X 20.5" and we only recommend transporting the safe while it is standing upright or laying directly on its back which would not allow it to fit through the doorway.
