- A: From the information that I have access to the 5/16” x 2” roll pin is supposed to be supplied with the over-running clutch. Please contact your local TSC store for assistance with pin.2 years agoHelpful?
Q: DOES THIS WORK ON MY JOHN DEERE 1023E COMPACT TRACTOR AND HOW FAR DOES IT EXSTEND MY SHAFT.

- A: It will work on all standard PTO shafts. It's locked in place with a roll pin so there should be a hole in the shaft for that. It will extend the PTO shaft by 4" so you may need to cut down or buy a shorter shaft.5 years agoHelpful?

Clutch seems to be very good

It would be nice if the lock pin was included! minimum directions should tell you it is required and you have to get it. It is 5/16x2 by the way. Another key piece of information that is hidden. I found end of the pin needs to be ground at a bit of a taper. That let it go right in.

Frustrating

Did not come with the roll pin and does not tell you what size to buy. So it’s a guessing game for no reason. I put in a 5/16”x 2” and the outer housing is slipping off. I will try to find a 2.25” pin now. Pathetic. If not I will return it.

Little tight on a 9n

The overrun clutch is built well and seems to function as it should. It does fit very tight on my 1940 Ford 9n tractor and rubbed around the housing a bit till a clearenced itself. Other than that it's been ok with one use.
